Passionate about rhythm, dedicated to excellence, and committed to nurturing the drummer within every student, meet Rebecca Dapaah your drum instructor. With over 10 years of experience behind the kit and a love for sharing the joy of drumming, Rebecca offers comprehensive drum lessons tailored to your individual goals and aspirations.
Rebecca obtained her Ontario Certificate teachers licence in 2017. She first completed an undergraduate degree in Health Science and then went on to complete a two-year Bachelors of Education degree specializing in junior and intermediate instrumental music. Under the supervision and encouragement from her instrumental music Professor Bernard Andrews, Rebecca became the drummer for the Faculty of Education instrumental band from 2015 to 2017. Rebecca performed in several concerts for both staff and students of the faculty. Since receiving her teacher's licence, Rebecca has invested a significant amount of time and effort into developing engaging and comprehensive instructional units for both her instrumental music classes in school and drum classes taught privately outside of school.
Rebecca also currently plays the drums on her worship team for her church Kingdom Culture, located in Ottawa, Ontario. She is a seasoned drummer with a deep understanding of various styles and techniques, including gospel, R&B, funk and rock. Rebecca brings a unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm to each lesson. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, her goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to unlock your full potential as a drummer.
